Or the last all-hands deck. Or your boss’s LinkedIn bio. Each
buzzword gets stamped the moment its last letter lands.
Matching is case sensitive, so “Synergy” at the start of a sentence
slips through.

How it works
synergybecomessynergy
Fonts can contain ligatures: rules that replace a run of letters
with a single glyph. That’s how “f” and “i” fuse into “fi” in a
well-set book.
Sans Bullshit Sans abuses the same feature. Its ligature table
lists 237 buzzwords, and each one maps to a hand-drawn,
Comic Sans-flavoured stamp: “b.s.”, “bullshit”, or, for the
truly long-winded, “bull fucking shit”. No scripts, no filters, no
server. The bullshit is caught by the typeface itself, anywhere
that renders OpenType ligatures.
The ligatures are marked as required, so there’s no off switch
in CSS. The bullshit filter at the top of this page works by
swapping in a copy of the font with the ligature table removed.

Sans Bullshit Sans was made in 2015 by
Roel Nieskens (PixelAmbacht),
based on Droid Sans, as the worked example in his blog post
about how ligatures work. It lived at sansbullshitsans.com, under the tagline “Leveraging
the synergy of ligatures™”.
That domain no longer belongs to the project and now redirects to
malware. Please don’t visit it. This site keeps the font available
and working, with the same joke and a new coat of paint.
